Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the WithCare website (hereby referred to as "Application") created by WithCare, Inc. (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you use it. This information may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), the pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, the time spent on the Application, the operating system you use on your device. The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your device. The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions. For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
The Application integrates with Google Calendar to access your calendar events. WithCare uses the Google Calendar API with the scope "calendar.events", which grants permission to view and edit events on all your calendars. WithCare accesses your Google Calendar data solely to provide caregiving task management and scheduling features. Specifically, this includes displaying your existing events and allowing you to add new events to your Google Calendar through the Application. WithCare does not use your Google Calendar data for any other purposes beyond the functionality of the Application, such as advertising or analytics. Your data is not sold or transferred to third parties for any unrelated purposes.
WithCare strictly limits its use of Google user data to providing user-facing features within the Application. Specifically, WithCare does not use Google user data for: targeted advertising, selling data to data brokers or information resellers, determining credit-worthiness or for lending purposes, personalized or interest-based advertisements, retargeting advertisements, creating databases not directly related to the Application’s features, training AI models with your Google data.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
WithCare does not transfer, sell, or disclose Google user data to third parties for any purposes beyond those necessary to operate the Application. Your Google Calendar data is only used to enable caregiving-related features, such as scheduling and task management. No Google user data is shared with third parties for advertising, analytics, or any other unrelated purposes.
WithCare does not allow for the transfer of Google user data to third parties for any of the following purposes: targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, providing to information resellers, determining credit-worthiness, lending purposes, personalized or interest-based advertisements. WithCare only transfers data as necessary for providing the core caregiving features of the Application. Google user data will not be transferred to third parties for any unrelated purposes.

Mixpanel
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by deleting your account.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at hello@joinwithcare.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (hello@joinwithcare.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Principle of Openness and Purpose of Data CollectionThe Service Provider adheres to the Principle of Openness, which ensures that users are informed about the existence of record-keeping systems and databanks containing data about individuals. The primary purposes of data collection and use include: Delivering caregiving features, such as scheduling and task management. Improving the Application through anonymized analytics and user feedback. Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements.Users may contact us at

Anonymized Data UsageThe Service Provider may use anonymized user data for: Improving caregiving services and user experience. Conducting statistical analyses and research to enhance the Application's features. Anonymized data is processed in a manner that prevents it from being traced back to individuals. Any personal data collected from third-party sources (e.g., Google or insurance portals) is not used to train AI models. To further protect user data, the Service Provider offers the following options: Users can opt out of having anonymized data used for service improvement. Impact of Data Sharing on Others
The Service Provider acknowledges that data sharing may impact individuals beyond the primary user, such as family members. Users are encouraged to exercise caution when providing genetic, health, or family history information through the Application. The Service Provider will not share such data externally unless explicitly required for caregiving purposes, as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Data Handling Upon Withdrawal of Consent
If a user withdraws consent for data collection, the following steps will be taken: User-provided data will be securely deleted within 30 days, unless required for legal or operational purposes. Any anonymized data retained will no longer be associated with the individual. Users will be notified upon completion of the deletion process.
Transfer of Ownership or Business Closure
In the event of a transfer of ownership or business closure, the Service Provider will: Notify users at least 30 days in advance. Provide users the option to: Securely dispose of, transmit, or download their health information. Retain their data under the successor's privacy policy, provided it aligns with the commitments outlined here. Allow users to close their accounts if desired.

Accounts that remain inactive for 12 months will be deemed dormant. Dormant accounts will: Receive an email notification with options to reactivate or close the account. Accounts will not be closed automatically, and users will retain access unless they explicitly choose to close their accounts.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes through email or in-app notifications. Updates will be dated, and continued use of the Application constitutes agreement to the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy regularly.This privacy policy is effective as of 2025-01-11.
